Hello and welcome to Reaxtion Studios review of the early 80’s and today’s console systems.  My name is Stacey and I will be your guide on this epic journey we are about to embark on. 

When asked to name a video game console, most people might name the newer systems such as the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 or Wii consoles.  If the same people are asked to name gaming consoles of the early and mid 80’s, the typical Nintendo, Atari and Sega names would be mentioned above all others.  This is, in part, due to the many gaming consoles created during the 80’s.  Magnavox had created the Odyssey 2 in 1978, which battled to stay afloat against the much more popular Atari VCS, which had more games and better name recognition although the Odyssey 2 was a much more powerful machine...
